The Town

Bermagui is the classic Australian coastal township, with all the beauty and appeal of sea-side living. Plus the recent addition of a marina with upmarket cafes and restaurants, providing the best of both worlds.

Attractions Near the House

Bermagui has a host of quality restaurants, cafes and wine bars.

The town ship is within 3 minutes drive from the Bermagui Beach House.

Plus there’s a scenic raised boardwalk through the wetlands to the town (twenty minutes walk).

Closer to home, between the house and the town is a marina development with a range of upmarket restaurants, cafes and a wine bar, all overlooking the marina.

Bermagui town is small and charming, a single strip of shops and eateries overlooking a green park and beyond that the inlet and the beach.  There is a supermarket, a country style pub and bottle shop, country club, butcher and fishmonger, a post office, retail clothing and gift shops.

There are numerous oyster farms in the area who sell their products direct to the public at great prices, in fact the delectable seafood is testament to how pristine the waters are.  You need not bring anything when you come to Bermagui Beach House as all the necessities are right there in the town.

The beach house is situated on a quiet beach away from the town providing near absolute privacy for beach walks and swimming.  A few minutes drive south is Main Beach where locals and visitors swim and surf everyday, and there are fantastic picnic areas, park lands, water sports, a golf course and walking trails for the more adventurous.

The Blue Pool is a natural saltwater rock cut swimming pool for doing laps, snorkelling, and swimming with children. It’s really stunning and a must see on your visit.
